Much better off phoning Sky if you want your information acknowledged, they'll put just about anyone on air no matter how boring or pointless.
They had someone on who was *actually* dictating a letter and recorded the sound of it! Who needs Geologists and their over-complicated equipment eh?

I wouldv'e thought the best way to contact BBC News would be to call TV Centre - 020 8743 8000 (although I'm not sure whether that's manned at all hours) and ask for the News Centre.
