Now 30 mins? Hmm, it'll look like a Lottery Update programme way we're going on, a two minute recap. All I've seen suggest a result isn't due until 9pm which means its going to crash into The Apprentice most likely unless that's going to get pushed to BBC Two to make a double with You're Fired.

What's the point in running a News Special from 8:30-9 as being mentioned here when the vote result won't be known until after 9?

I'd bump the Apprentice to BBC Two and run the Andrew Neil News Special from 9-10pm.

Who is saying it won't be known until after 9? The vote is between 6 and 8 with the result "as soon as possible" after, i.e. once counted.

I'm not sure it's necessary to bump The Apprentice. What about a graphic during the programme for news of the result and a message to turn over to BBC News for more coverage?

Can't see Apprentice moving to BBC Two to be honest.
All depends when the vote is announced but if the announcement is well after 9 then Apprentice will probably be bumped to tomorrow (as will You're Fred) and the same if May loses the vote.

Would've been so much easier for the Beeb if the vote announcement was due to be made just after 10pm.

The man on BBC News and the straps are saying it, and flicking over I see Sky News ticker is also reporting 'around 9pm'.

Obviously which way it goes determines how important it is to break into programming. If it goes as expected it's pretty much as you were.

There's a fault with the BBC Sky EPG listings tonight as its still showing The One Show as being on air now on BBC One, when it finished at 19:30.

The News channel EPG listing is showing the BBC News special now (started 110 minutes ago) and 100 days to follow at 7pm when its already aired.

The One Show was originally scheduled for 60 minutes so that explains that.

My Sky EPG has updated fine here, on all BBC1 regions and the News Channel. I suggest you need a planner reset.
