Seems an odd choice of presenter for something branded as ‘BBC News’, where is Huw Edwards?


I suppose a mixture of the fact they wanted a familiar face and down to a lot of resources being tied up. The only other option would've been to ask Sophie Raworth who presented the Six to stick around. If Andrew Neil hadn't been available I suspect Jo Coburn would've presented it.

The ‘LIVE’ is right at the top of the screen so anyone with overscan turned on will have it cut off.

Note the LIVE straps on the BBC One programme weren't on the News Channel, they used their own.
