To be fair it doesn’t really have to go out at all, it’s only clips of past episodes with a few comments from Sugar. After Graham Norton on Friday or Match of the Day on Saturday would be perfectly fine.

True, it's just filler... but it's an hour they've paid for so they may as well fill some airtime with it

This Episode scheduled tonight was the Interviews actually

It also shows very little respect to anyone who actually would like to watch the full edit. The fact that the why I fired them has been scheduled for 21:00 suggests to me that the slot has been left open for something to be moved into as I'm pretty sure that usually goes out after the news.

Yes, and it has to go out sometime after the penultimate episode too

Apprentice to tomorrow, why I fired them to Friday 23:25 and the Lockerbie documetory to Friday 21:00 in Scotland would make the most sense in my opinion. I can't see how have I got news for you will be able to produce an up to date edition with the current speed of the news anyway.

Have I Got News For You is taped on Thursday evening, so there will be enough time for them to react to the result tonight.

Tomorrow has the pointless episode at 9 so people are saying today's can go there and that can go to its Scotland airing after Graham Norton UK wide.

All this schedule talk is nonsense considering the BBC have never been afraid to just run the schedule late if live events demand it. Absolutely no need for them to overcomplicate things when they can just run 15-20 mins late.

Assuming nothing happens in the next 2 days which is far from a safe assumption...

I highly doubt they would delay the 10 tonight.

Exactly.

If she wins, this programme wouldn't need to stay on air for long afterwards and just have The Apprentice run past 10pm. Why is the news starting dead on at 10pm so sacrosanct?

Not as easy when the 22:00 programme on 2 cannot start until the 21:00 programme on 1 finishes unless they take your fired off in any case.

I'm sure BBC Two has no end of 10 minute fillers they can drop in.
