CNN Supersizes graphics.

CNN US has today 'supersized' their graphics...

Trying to be like Fox News me thinks.

I'm confused by the digitalspy captures (from where these have been nicked)- they show a name aston (has to be two lines) "before" and a story aston "after"- there is no like-for-like comparison there at all.

cnn US's presentation is awful

They have just gone back to how they used to be. Most people didn't like the smaller graphics so CNN management reversed their decision.

It looks really bad.
I didn't mind the smaller graphics and thought it was a step towards going widescreen and possibly even into HD.

Along with the new 'flood the zone' policy, they really need to get some new management in there.

I think it is pushing it to say that CNN has had any sort of management over the past few years.

The way it works in the US TV industry is that if you don't achieve results in a couple of months, they sack you and find someone else.

I was more amused about the slug ''RELIEF AT THE PUMP''... because Americans pay SO much for their petrol, don't they.

We are lucky to have CNN International and not the CNN US version. The US version has a lot of adverts, and just a lack of news. Although I would like a change in graphics.

What is it with US News? Fox News is utter crap, especially as I notice most of the time I channel hop there is the Fox Weather Cast which is very long to cover the ads...CNN US is more of a magazine than newspaper. MSNBC has a touch of decency...get that in Sky!

CNN International barely counts as news either. There's too much lifestyle programmes and crud. Plus it's SO boring to watch. The presenters are either made of wood or cheese, and or a whole range of Max Factor cosmetic products and have a lifelong love affaire with themselves. I mean come on, some of the Business International presenters must have an orgasm each time they see their own reflection. (I won't even bother commenting on Fox news, I think the Daily Star has more news content).
