State of America, the CNNI weekend show Kate anchors, is also going to come from Hudson Yards this weekend. Not sure if it will use the newsroom set or if we'll see the debut of one of other 5 sets they got there.

Brooke's background looks like BBC's World Biz Report.

From what I can see, the Hudson Yards set looks a lot more 'CNN' than in recent years.

I was wondering what that camera was for in the background from the main set. ITs positioned just to the right of that grey alove that holds the banks of monitors that appear camera left on the main set. Geez , that doesnt look good at all. Its like they dont even care anymore.

More images here from Newscaststudio which I think does the set total justice. I think it's vast improvement on the previous set.

Early Start this morning were utilising a new 'magic wall' to the right of the set, looked great.

I still can't understand that Brooke Baldwin chair position which survived the move. This time she barely has any desk in front of her, just an edge of the main glass part. We even have the shoe box on full display, along with her legs and figure. It looks very uncomfortable and ridiculous.

One things for sure they appear to need to work on the lighting or teach their make up artists how LED lights change appearance.

Agreed. It has to be her choice because anyone else covering her doesn’t sit at the desk like she does - bearing leg. It does look ridiculous and also uncomfortable.

There have been occasions when the news she’s covering is so bleak that she’ll revert to the usual set up.
