It's a total joke to cut this show and that bureau. Has anyone explained the rationale behind this other than the fact CNNi is losing money?

On the day they are supposed to stop broadcasting from Hong Kong, they have been broadcasting from there all day long. Very Happy

Don't fret everyone, we may have lost various Newsroom editions and Newstream but I'm sure Early Start and New Day will provide a comprehensive look at the day's global news stories *chortles*.

Natalie Allen and George Howell are a very good team, too. I really like them.

And when Karen Maginnis does the weather, it’s just pure nostalgia - the great 90s.


I find most of the Atlanta presenters fine - Rosemary Church is class, Michael and Amara are fantastic and the rest like Cyril Vanier, Lynda Kinkade, Natalie Allen etc. are all pretty good. It's the content they have to work with which often isn't great.

The "You're watching CNN, the world's news leader" line is a pet peeve of mine - especially given how it usually comes before the millionth repeat of African Voices.

2 interesting observations in these new schedule changes:

- They used the nice, long opening for the new edition of CNN Newsroom at 14.00cet.
- It looks like the 09.00 cet edition of CNN Newsroom with Rosemary Church which is now only 30 minutes for CNNI, actually still goes for a full hour for the CNN US simulcast. Rosemary said at the end today that Inside Africa is next for Int viewers while there's more news coming up for domestic ones.

For the first time ever we have CNNI doing news for CNN US while international viewers get taped stuff. Now I've seen it all.
