has anyone got any caps???

Really liking it too. It's like a fusion of Sky News (Graphics and red boxes) and BBC News (music subtleties). The anchor I saw heralding the new look in my part of the world was Isha Sesay. She handled the few teething cock ups very well.

I have a feeling that this will grow on us gradually. The entire output and trailers have all been rebranded too. Will have to wait until Monday to see YWT and BI, WNA and WNE, CNN Today, etc, and see how they all fare.

One slight thing that did surprise me though - the onscreen fixed logo is now minus the globe, and only displays the CNN stylised text only! Wonder if this will gradually be reintroduced?

Overall, I like it. Its refreshing.

Hah, I was up early today to catch the first bulletin. It was by Hala Garani.

Anjali Rao just appeared on an advert for World News Asia, she's moved up in the world!

The globe does come up for 'lives' - including when they're in the studio.

The CNNi "ident" seems very skewed in favour of the Northern Hemisphere, doesn't it?!

Has anyone a video of the World News opening sequence. I like to see the "Today" and "Your World today" graphics! So, let's see on Monday!

I like the split screen on the caps above. It's the one with the 'Israeli PM undergoing surgery' on the strap. (I'd have quoted it but onetrickpony has - for some bizarre reason - stuck all the captures together!)

What's this to do with the CNN rebrand? Well at the bottom of the screen is a 'flipper' just like CNN's!

Hope News 24 gets one soon rather than the ticker.
