Certainly looks like thats a flashcam position, as it doesnt seem to have that studio lighting feel. Still remains to be seen if there is a newsroom view from the main studio. And you can barely make out the CNN LDN logo in the background. Interesting they didnt make the column CNN red. So it pops. Nice overall so far IMO.
I'm here to give you something to talk about! You're Welcome.

I wonder if we can expect a new show to come out of London to further show off the new studio? I'd really like to see Early Start be replaced with a London-based news or business news hour.

It seems to early to tell if Early Start was put in the CNNI schedule just temporarily, or if they're just carrying it because it's an election year, or if it's pretty much permanent. Would be nice to see London-based output during that time slot.

I 'm not sure if all current London based shows will debut from the new HQ next week? We know Max and Bianca's shows will and since Hala is off tonight, I assume she's at the new place rehearsing and will be broadcasting from there on Monday.

Which leaves Amanpour, who did her show tonight and Isa (filled in for Hala tonight) and Cyril who are still in the old place, doing their shows, filling in for others and not rehearsing.

Wow, Can’t wait to see this live! I do wonder if this means the end of Amanpour’s signature desk, a staple since Time Warner Center.

No glass or monitor in the desk also seems very surprising, wonder if Atlanta will debut something similar. The brick seems to match the CNN Money Switzerland set.

Overall very happy to see a set that has breathing room!

Good God! Surely these can't be them?

That’s surely a TV Forum record? If not an internet record?

Not quite, James, although it's still impressive. The Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Thread has been going since 2004: https://tvforum.uk/thenewsroom/yorkshire-lincolnshire-11414/

It runs to more pages than there were episodes of Prisoner: Cell Block H.

Any advance on 2004??
