I've been reliant on CNN as I'm touring South Korea and China these past few weeks. I didn't realize how much they repeat. Over 2 hours I've heard and seen the same reports so many times. I don't believe they were always like that. I really dislike the midnight BST to 2am slots now. Before they were anchored from HK and had a real tech focus. Now it's cutting earlier and earlier for US shows like Anderson (who seems get get two shows) and Piers. Not impressed. Still like CNNi, just wish they'd anchor more live.

Really like the look of that! Anything with Becky Anderson is bound to be good. Pity she's on too late for my time zone. Alas.

Errol Barnett is on vacation and regular Prism stand in Jim Clancy is in Taiwan. So, we have Martin Savidge on Prism.

Bring back Ralitsa or Fionualla.

the graphics are superb, but the music is CRAP.

From next week Michael Holmes and Isha Sesay are trading jobs, Michael is leaving BackStory and moving to first IDesk edition at 1600 cet while Isha is becoming the new BacStory presenter. This makes sense since she also does news upadtes for Anderson Cooper and this way she doesn't have to be at CNN Center all day long like when she did first IDesk (though lately she barely did it at all).

Also Back Story will get a new set from next week, finally. It will be done from the new CNN US newsroom.

Seems like Isha is the new Golden Girl at CNN! Bit like Zain used to be before she ditched her Wasgington post!

The slow death of CNNI as a news channel continues with new changes from next week.

New domestic show, Erin Burnett OutFront will air at 05.00 CET (11.00 HK) but it's not live, it will be taped cause the live show airs at 01.00 CET on CNN US. This means that World Sport which used to be at 0500 is moving to 06.00. CET replacing another World Report bulletin. This means that from 02.00. till 07.00 (08 - 1300 HK time) there will be no news bulletins. Instead this is what we get:

00.00 Situation Room (from next week this will be taped too, not live cause this show is moving hour earlier on domestic from 4 till 6pm so CNNI will have the second hour taped). This is only for Europe , Asia Pacific gets World Report
01.00 World Report (for all continents)
02.00 Anderson Cooper 360 (live)
03.00 Piers Morgan Tonight (live)
04.00 Quest Means Business , 8 hour old business show with all your latest market updates
05.00 Erin Burnett OutFront, 3 hour old new show
06.00 World Sport, sports show at the top of the hour, only on World News Leader
06.30 BackStory (replay)

At least they could have put Burnett's show instead of that ridiculous Quest replay, that way World Report at 0600 would be saved, but no, idiotic CNN managements keeps on ruining the channel. They did their job on the weekends, now it's time to ruin weekdays too.

Wonder if CNN Abu Dhabi is having a facelift? Errol Barnett is presenting Prism from Atlanta today, as opposed to Abu Dhabi.

That's a rather long commute he's had since Thursday evening!

I think Errol has moved back to his old role as social-media correspondent in Atlanta, recently he's been back in Atlanta and Fionnuala Sweeney doing Prism from Abu Dhabi.
