CNBC (in Europe) in Widescreen finally

CNBC has been broadcasting today in Widescreen. Not before time!!

And they dropped the time bug! (To be in the line with America ones)

Seems to have been done to coincide with a brand new CNBC Asia schedule, with an early morning show The Rundown being introduced, CNBC Asia Squawk Box moving to a shiney new studio in Hong Kong, and the morning shows being rebranded Street Signs.

New graphics also introduced, though basically just shinier and better animated versions of the previous ones.

What are they doing during the US broadcasts? How is that feed appearing?

Is it letterboxed?

Looks zoomed to me....

Something seems up with the widescreen on CNBC on my freesat box, I have to manually stretch the picture to fit the 16:9 frame. For those with more technical equipment, is there a wide screen flag on the stream?

I've noticed that they just stretch any 4:3 content which looks a bit of a mess.
