This is just sad. I did expect a whole lot more, considering the fuss they were making on Twitter throughout the weekend and also with the U.K. Election programme in mind, which had surprisingly beautiful graphics all across the board. (There, I didn't mind the static background, it worked well.)

They gave no effort whatsoever. What are these weird colours in the background supposed to be? How do they match the ugly yellow objects from the stings?

I prefer to watch Squawk Box Europe instead of Bloomberg's Countdown. The show has just turn stupid.

Speaking of Squawk Box, on today's 6am TOTH, Karen Tso read the 4th headline, and in turn, Geoff Cutmore read "At this Hour" bit.

As for OTM, it's still anchored by Jon Ferro. The Pulse will remain the same i think, but instead of the Pulse i would watch WEX.

There's no sound on CNBC right now!

Didn't have that problem on the pan-European feed of CNBC.

For the open of The Pulse, they managed to replace the shots of Francine and Guy with additional pictures of towers. Apart from that and, of course, Manus being the new co-anchor, nothing has changed.

I don't know, Bloomberg doesn't know how to do all-around pleasant linear TV. It just isn't in their DNA. Everything that's been innovative they've left to CNBC, at least in Europe. They've improved considerably over the years.

Oh, look, Mark Barton's back being a market reporter on The Pulse, just like before 2012.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Mike Bloomberg himself is to blame for the lack of a ticker on screen. The current solution with the "Top News" on the right side of the screen was his idea. Terrible. The colours aren't pleasant either.

I'm not sure that's a fair characterisation. First, content-wise, Bloomberg has fantastic business and financial coverage. It has a broad range of reporters and in-house analysts on tap, along with a mix of good presenters - likeable and knowledgeable. Presentation wise, I think the current supers are good (although I fear that the less attractive Bloomberg Markets graphics from the US will eventually be adopted in Europe and Asia).

True, the titles aren't the best - although I'm quite partial to the music for The Pulse. But Bloomberg Europe has had some fantastic sequences in the past - including this and this (I like both 'families' of titles used alongside those). So, it's not exactly beyond them to put together something sharp.

For me the best business anchor is Willfred Frost, and the worst business anchor is Alix Steel (I just hate her and her voice).

For me, Market Makers is the best show on Bloomberg. It has a great look, opening graphics, music, set with a nice newsroom view and of course a great anchor team. Stephanie Ruhle is just amazing.

Bloomberg Market Day coverage now uses OTS for the news updates, they use the TV screen
(Edit, 08:35) Another change for SBE, Karen Tso now reads the headlines standing behind the videowall. It looks like the BBC's News at Six opening from 2008.

From 6am tommorrow, CNBC will relanuch it's flagship programme Squawk Box Europe, and will lanuch Squawk Box Live blog (Answer to the recent Bloomberg TV changes?):
*

I would like to see Fast Money and The Rundown instead of Fallon, Nightly News and Other Business programming like Access Middle East or CNBC Conversation and the new version of the ticker with alphabeticial components of major american, european and asian indexes instead of best and worst, active and most active stocks.

(Edit, 07:06) No changes for CNBC Europe's flagship programme, presented today by Karen Tso and Carolin Roth.

It seems that Bloomberg TV India has changed the graphics again, is it the begining of the ticker return to Bloomberg TV worldwide?

I think we should bring back Squawk Realtime (3rd hour of Squawk Box Europe), because it should show the latest market news and trends. This video is from 2011 (Taken from CNBC US, because of some special coverage):

I'd also need to see the new weekday schedule from autumm on CNBC Europe (all times London):

0500 Capital Connection with Sri Jegarajah and Karen Tso
0600 Squawk Box Europe with Geoff Cutmore and Steve Segdwick
0900 WorldWide Exchange with Seema Mody and Carolin Roth
1100 US Squawk Box
1200 Europe Power Lunch with Willfred Frost
1300 US Squawk Box
1400 US Squawk On The Street
1600 European Closing Bell with Louisa Bojesen
1700 Fast Money - The Halftime Report
1800 US Power Lunch
2000 US Closing Bell
2200 Fast Money
2300 The Rundown (Monday-Thursday)/Mad Money (Friday)
0000 Squawk Box Asia
0300 Street Signs

With that the ticker should be changed.
