Just been announced that Jeremy Paxman will present election night coverage in 2015 for channel 4. If Jon Snow joins him they could make a formidable duo.
They did an alternative election night last time With Charlie Brooker, Jimmy Carr and David Mitchell. It beat ITV in the ratings. Afaik the 2015 election night will be similar to that rather than a tradition election night results show.

Nobody knows that yet. The only detail announced for Channel 4's coverage is Jeremy Paxman:

Fair to assume that it will be another 'alternative' election night. Partly because they trumpet the 2010 alternative election night in the press release - but also because they wouldn't/couldn't realistically do a traditional programme without ITN, whose resources will presumably already be committed to ITV's programme.
All the main news providers try to announce things with great import - but you have to admire the way stalwart Jon Snow hijacked Matt Frei's rehearsed close to tonight's C4 News by reading out a text message, direct to air, from former Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, just as the closing credits were looming . . . .
A nice demonstration of how involved the main anchors of some of our news programmes are in the journalism - clearly not just there to read the autocue.
What was nice about it, was Matt Frei clearly knew what was going to happen - handed over to Jon Snow, and there were no flashy graphics.
Good old fashioned journalism where someone gets news direct from a source (or a statement of information) to air without it having to be processed. Albeit with the help of some new fangled technology.
