Doesn't seem to be a topic at the mo...

Browsing on Wikipedia, it appears that Sarah Smith will become Washington correspondent for C4 News in the new year....which aks the question...if this is true, who will replace her on More 4 News.

IMO, it looks as if Carl Dinnen will, as he has been the main fill-in anchor in Sarah's absence on the prog...the only other one I can think of is Samira that would possibly get it.

On another note, it appears that Khrishnan very rarely is the second anchor on the main 7pm show now...for most of this year it has been Lindsay Taylor.

And one last point...anyone know if Katie Razall will be coming back...she was pregnant, but before that she seemed to be doing a lot of presenting...just wondered if she will return.

Yes, it's true about Sarah Smith going to Washington:

This was widely reported in the broadcast press.

That's because he presents the News at Noon!

Yes, but my point was that, even when he did News at Noon, he was often the secondary anchor - now that rarely happens.

I'm not a regular viewer at 7pm at all but even if he isn't there as much, he certainly crops up alot on it.

I'd guess Carl Dinnen for More4 News - and I guess that also means filling in on the News at Noon too.

Although generally the More4 presenters have stuck to More4 and not ventured onto to the main channel too much.

Top marks to the News at Noon for the *best ever* ending to a news programme today. The "And finally" type story was a lesson for any tourists going to Paris on how to pout and act grumpy like the French, including some examples from a random website.

When it came back to Samira, she gave the whole closing "back at seven and noon tomorrow" speel in French, chucked her papers across the desk and sat there pouting as the camera rolled right around the studio and practically up onto her back.

EDIT: And with special thanks to the wonderful world of viral videos, it's available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d38Y_HUr7_g

That's brilliant - only C4 News could get away with that!

Has Sarah Smith finished More4 News yet then - and if so, has anyone been officially named as her replacement?

I think C4 news is underated and undermentioned. They do some fantastic stuff that unfortunately never makes it onto the Forum! I recommend anybody to watch it.
