The C4 News team to begin presenting Dispatches and Unreported World. Not sure that's a good move myself - the C4 strands have always been about relatively unknown reporters filming stories they themselves are passionate about, and Jon Snow presenting "Landlords from Hell" doesn't really add to his credentials.

Totally agree. Plus it blurs the distinction between news and current affairs, both of which the channel has been fairly good it IMO.

She's tweeter today that last Friday was her last bulletin as lead, whilst she will still continue to be second presenter for a few more weeks.

I wonder if she will go back to BBC World?

I doubt it - BBC World will just be pointing the camera at the autocue within a few months.

According to the Daily Mail, she has already lined up work at the BBC, working on Radio 4.

One might want to take this with a pinch of salt, especially as the main premise of the article is that she was forced out by Channel 4 bosses, as her hair was too scruffy for TV... Rolling Eyes

Not a fan of this sort of magazine show type of thing they're doing by saying what's coming up in the show and at what time. It takes them much longer to start the main headline and it gets very repetitive the way they keep doing it throughout the show.

Not seen it but they seem to be messing with it for the sake of messing with it at the moment. And overlong headline sequences really annoy me.

Sounds like a suitable job for both Rob McElwee and Philip Avery, I reckon.
