as fab as it looks I still preferred the launch ones where it cut from the titles into the screen and the presenter appeared out of nowhere in a very slick shot

I think it is important to keep the link between the programmes while keeping them distinctly different. It does show what can be done with a simple but flexible studio.

Unusual last night that Krishnan was presenting Channel 4 News with Alex Thomson on More 4 News. You rarely see them co-presenting on Channel 4 News cuz they're sort of on a par in terms of being Jon Snow's stand-ins... though IIRC where they have done in the past it has been Alex who has had the main anchor seat?! Two of my favourite newsreaders in any case!
