Did anyone see this go out yesterday?

He had someone push into him on his piece to camera for Channel 4 News earlier as well (incidently, easily the best G20 report I saw yesterday)...

I assumed that went without saying.

Looks like it has gone. What was it?

EDIT: I'm guessing it was this...

Is it just me or do the Channel 4 News programmes have different desks?

At noon, the desk is usually, small in length, tall in height and slightly wider.

At 7, the desk is usually the opposite of above.

The desk they use at noon is the desk the summary presenter usually sits at on the main programme.

Did Ken Livingstone's shirt do funny things to anyone's TV on tonight's C4 news?

Surely the crew would have advised him about the shirt before he went on air!

This is a video I took on my N95 - the quality on this is slightly worse than it was on air: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-BZkCPgup0

Unusual. Channel 4 News player is shwoing the programme from 24th April 2009.

As said on Twitter :

Hidden in our 7-day catch-up player is the full prog from 24 Apr 1989. Why? http://bit.ly/jAeP6 (and why has the tie changed?)

Wonder Why?

Jon Snow's first edition of the programme 20 years ago?

Edit: They've confirmed that now.

Really interesting viewing... he hasn't changed all that much really! Ties excluded, of course. For some reason I completely omitted from my memory Channel 4 signing off reports as "ITN". When did this stop, was it about mid-1990s, I guess at the same point they removed the ITN logo from the start of the titles?

Yes, I think the ITN logo was dropped when the titles were redesigned in 1995. That's when they entered the orange years.

Did anybody like the "Orange Years"?

Personally, I didn't watch the news back then, because I was a young child, but from the videos I have seen it looked quite good.
