Blimey ! thats torn it. Actually, thats probably how she got caught out.

Ah well four or five months and Luce will be off our screens. Which if any of the female presenters will fill her place ? Summers, I suppose unless she has the same ideas about starting a family.

Also has it been announced who will replace her on ITV Wales Tonight?

Well now may I ask who was presenting the HTV news just now, I only caught the end -- a most mysterious man yet with a familiar voice [?]

Kevin Ashford from Central News. He presented it last Friday as well.

Either way I disapprove -- he's no Steve Taylor is he.

I find the HTV news quite shallow and unlikeable on the whole these days [almost unbearably so without Jon/Lucy].

I dont mind Kevin Ashford. He has a very calm authoritative voice.

But I agree, when Jon and Lucy arent there it stands out a mile that other presenters are just "stand in's". No-one else is as good presenting on the programme as they are. Which is why im curious as to who will take over when Lucy goes. My choice would have been Zoe Tape/Thomas, but I havent seen her present or report for ages so I assume she has left. I think it will be Justina who takes over though, she always seems to present it when Lucy isnt there.

Wanna hear Kevin Ashford pronouncing Welsh names

Kevin Ashford has been presenting bulletins on ITV Wales today. Maybe he has joined ITV Wales on a permanent basis?

Well now perhaps others have read the article already, but only a few days left now until Lucy leaves HTV according to the Echo, and I do hope Nicola Heywood-Thomas and Peanut are able to attend her final programme.

It was mentioned Jon at the end of tonights programme that Lucy is leaving. Not much of a farewell really considering she has been there such a long time.

Well she fared marginally better than Sara, who had to say bye for herself!
