I've just tried listening to Radio Oxford on the Radio Player - it's 1am so they should be playing Five Live, but they don't have online rights for it - BUT.... who's that voice doing the announcement? Is it Sue Beardsmore?
I think you're right! I guess she's still working at Birmingham behind the scenes. Perhaps she'll appear on TV again once the move is complete. Just think of Bernadette Kearney - she disappeared several years ago as a presenter and then reappeared in the last few months as a reporter, so who knows? Perhaps Sue will return!
Is Birmingham in charge of English local radio as well, like they are with English BBC TV regions?
I don't think they have much to do with the streaming - I think they all have to go to London and back since the ones already online are nearest London.

It's actually the ones that can be received off-air at Maidenhead (near Reading), where the streaming servers are.

Mark Bolton has joined Sky Sports; and I think the "man with glasses" may well be Gary Newbon.
