Central News West and East will be sharing the same studio soon meaning studio is under construction- is that right my fellow Central News fans???

Yup. Basically they're plonking a wall down the middle of the studio to create two smaller stuidos - one for east and one for west. It's going to be quite tight when they've finshed.

Hopefully it won't end up like Anglia's studio affair where one studio is smaller and ends up using a cso to create the studio - it just looks awful.

Have a feeling that the new sets for both programmes will look similar to what we've seen on London Tonight.

When is the BBC moving into the new Mailbox studio (is it the mailbox studio)?

25th October 2004 is the latest date I have...

Will have to make sure i'm at home... for that so i can watch it via sky... god thank u bbc for making em all via sky..

I understood it was the 30th as they needed time to play with the new equitment.

Oooh just noticed Joanne Writtle on Midland's Today - yet another jump over from ITV Central!

Joanne Writtle was a bad presenter, although good reporter. I wish Arti, Tom Parmenter, Lisa Dowd and a few others would leave Central, they are terrible. What's happened to good regional presenting? Thank god for Bob and Llew!

The 30th is a Saturday so maybe the 1st November.....I think it may go into next year...
