It had to be brought back...considering that the old one became part of the cull...even though it wasn't ALWAYS about news.

Still...it's back!

Eactly why they had to go - and isn't this forum supposed to see the end of threads like this - at least seperate BBC Midlands and Central West.

I think Ison is testing the early resolve of this new setup.

He starts up a generic thread, without any actualy purpose other than starting the thing, just what was he thinking ?

It'll be slapped legs at playtime I expect.

Please don't just start a topic for the no apparent reason - especially not generic threads.

Quote:

General/generic threads are discouraged - slight developments can be grouped in one thread however this forum was created to make it easier to access all related news comments

If you are starting a thread about something news related please put your own views & opinion in it, not just saying post all comments here (or words to that effect).

Can I still 'bang on' about BBC WM in this thread/forum ?

IMO I do have some interesting titbits occasionally, like for instance BBC WM are now spliting sports coverage between 95.6fm & the Brum & Wolves DAB multiplexes, like today Wolves v Leeds was on Wolves DAB & Brum v Portsmouth on Brum DAB.

Not sure what was on FM, unless it was the Walsall away match, where they lost. (Won one, drew one, lost one so far!)

Wonder where 'online' will fit in ?

Gaunty & family had to decamp from his hotel in Florida, to further inland, due to the hurricane BTW.

Doolan's 'Other Side Of' tomorrow, is (I think) TV producer David Millard.

On The current ITV Regions websites, the under construction Central page, it has in News, "New Studio Announced", then when you click on it it says "but not". It also reports about a Duck dying lol. Anyone know what progress ITV Central is in with their rebuilding?

oh shut up.

I went out today and bought a sympathy card after the passing of the old thread. Should I send it to Andy, Kay or just throw it in a Birmingham direction?

What's going on at Central News. I know they have been presenting from a reception area, but what's the reason?

I think that they are moving into the old CiTV studio in Birmingham - though I could be wrong.
