Oops, sorry.
I forgot... ITV West news doesn't have a plural number of viewers, does it?!

Theres 2 special programmes Thursday & Friday. Thursday looks back on Sports stories throughout the years and Tim Russon in particular who presents his last sports section.
And Friday is the last Central News at Six which is Live in Witney where lots of Central personalities including Emma Jesson, Charlie Neil & lots of Central News presenters will be on looking back at the past 17 years with 'a few special surprises'. This could mean James Wright may be doing the other Central regions Weather.
And Sunday at 18.25 will be the very last Central News bulletin.

Looking in my 'South and West/South West' Radio Times for next week, it looks as if Meridian and Central retain their non news regional programmes on Hannington and Oxford respectively, but 'Thames Valley Tonight' will be shown on both transmitters. But I'm only guessing from the lack of any mention of an ITV Thames Valley region in there.

Remind me again people, do we know if Thames Valley is a new region on its own or is it a sub region of Meridian?!?!

I'd have thought that the whole "ITV Thames Valley" area would take Meridian's non-news regional programming?
What with the Thames Valley
news
itself being a "Meridian production" so to speak (i.e. made at Whitley).
Presumably, north Gloucestershire is now getting the ITV West non-news regional programming??? If so, then why wouldn't the Oxford Transmitter area also sever its ITV Central connections?

But the Midlands Radio Times doesn't include South Today Oxford in the BBC1 column!
What I'm getting at is that, surely either
(A) ITV Thames Valley News belongs in the "West/South West/South" edition of RT , not the Midlands edition. And therefore the W/SW/S edition should be the one on sale in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
or (B) If the Midlands edition is gonna include ITV Thames Valley, then it should also include BBC South Today Oxford!
The Midlands RT started listing Look North (Leeds) a few weeks ago, alongside MT and EMT, to allow for "north Midlands" viewers. Realistically, I doubt that was necessary. Surely, if RT Midlands has never mentioned Look North ever ever ever before, then it must be unnecesary (e.g. Yorks & Lincs RT must already be the one that's generally stocked in northern Derbyshire shops).
Which particular BBC and ITV regions are included in any given variant of RT ought to geographically match as much as possible.
ITV Thames Valley and BBC Oxford could be included in both the Midlands and W/SW/S RT s if needs be. The point is, that the 2nd-8th Dec RT is inconsistent within itself.

The analogue ITV Central signal from Ridge Hill carries Central News South (West from next Monday) & Central regional programmes while the ITV West signal from the same mast logically carries The West Tonight and their regional programmes

I suspect only about a dozen or so readers have noticed. In this day and age, where most people can't even spell or punctuate properly, you're expecting a level of attention to detail, that is way above that which the Radio Times staff can be bothered with.
The Freeview EPG on Hannington incorrectly lists 'Meridian Tonight' for next week too.
EDIT 11:00 Hrs Dec 3rd: EPG data now says, "Thames Valley Tonight" Well done
