Quite amusing, during the link at the top of the Lunchtime news, the camera cut to Joanne Malin for the headlines and she was happily sitting on the sofa swigging on a bottle of water! Realised she was on air, looked rather startled and started to read. Promptly got cut off mid sentance. Whoops Very Happy

Thats happened quite a lot recently and alsways happens to Joanne Malin, really announced "ma-lin" not "Mail-in". I remember a 10.55 update and she was there putting her makeup on. Bob also missed the headlines in the evening news while reading a paper, also the music link in the headlines dont match now, it was perfect until a few weeks ago.

Central must be having some problems, as at 5.30 the preview just played out the animated titles, that displays on the plasmas, then cut to bob with 1 second to spare, and he doesnt say anything, and just looks like "well it aint worth talking now". Then at six, no titles and no music. Can you explain more about this Leeds thingy?

Is that all you do, criticise people who talk about Central, unlike SOME people, I dont have time to read everything, as I have not got 24 hours to waste every day, and I wouldnt want to read half the crap thats on here anyway. So p**s of matey. And what pretty pictures?!

With the move of the transmission the sound mix from ITN in London seems to have been lost too so that it's all now very BBC Newsy and an obvious jump from the background music on the Evening News then to Central News if you know what I mean shame because they used to be able to do a nice mix from the end of Central News to the start of the Evening News - they still try to do it but it never seems as smooth anymore sometimes with half a second of no sound at all - cack-a-poo-poo...... Confused Confused
