I'm not sure if other regional sets are any different at the moment but Central News East currently has an odd set. They're only doing two different camera shots, the lighting is different and the wall to the right is very unusual. I can't even describe it. I'm thinking they're in a temp set.
Yes I noticed, to me the right wall where the plasma and blue lights usually areI think are made up of greeney blue squares with a plasma. The background image is the same, but without the silver border, and the blue lights are at the back of the chairs. But why? Only a few months in, and all ITV regions have this look!
I think the main shot was better in this new studio though. Very strange, it looked more than temp to me, especially that wall...
All in all it's just very weird. No other region seems to have moved into a temp set (other than Central South) and they're still using the seating and desk from the old set, which would suggest they won't be used in the new set. For the first time in ages, I'm actually paying attention to Central News East! My god, someone get me some drugs.

Calendar are using some similar camera angles as well. At the end of the programme, when they are about to hand over to the Evening News, you can see a cameraman in the shot - if that makes sense.
