The set looks incredibly dated, something you'd see in the early 2000s.
I was going to say it was original to the building but this was what was there in 2013:

It matches the design that’s featured in the national CBSN “studio”:
KCBS/KCAL have used the newsroom desk before when studios are being renovated. For this I imagine the acrylic branding will be swapped for something neutral or it will just be tight shots.
As for the signage above the Cronkite map you will see if you look at the SoCal Scanner the previous CBS News Los Angeles signs appears to be hung by hooks.
