What's wrong with digging up an old thread? We have a policy here whereby threads are automatically archived after two months of inactivity. Once a thread is archived, it can no longer be posted in. So, digging up a thread up to two months old isn't a big deal - after all, two months isn't a long time.
On the subject of Katie Couric, I switched onto FOX News last Sunday when they were in the middle of a debate about the CBS Evening News. They were arguing that Katie Couric is not newsworthy/heavyweight enough to present the programme due to her starting out on NBC Today.
