I knew CBS This Morning was making inroads, but had no idea it was doing as well as that. Impressive stuff.

Incidentally, I'm guessing the point where Today jumps back ahead of GMA by a massive margin was during the 2012 Olympics...

KDVA - 60 Telemundo San Antonio TX.
Really impressed with these new Telemundo sets. Not as impressed with the lighting design. Looks blue and flat. If it looks bad in photos it must be terrible on screen.

A sad state of affairs when a US university has a significantly more impressive set than the likes of London Live.

But I guess it's just like US colleges having bigger stadiums than many UK professional football grounds.

True. However Ithaca College has a strong journalism program and they want students to learn on modern technology.

It's great that they have those kind of facilities. I did my journalism postgrad at Cardiff Uni, which is one of the best in the country, and our TV set was a wooden desk in front of a hand-me-down printed backdrop from an old ITV Wales studio.

WKRC - 12 Cincinnati - Um this set is all kinds of ugly. Not sure why someone thought the fake bricks worked. Looks stupid in my opinion and completely unnecessary. The desk is hideous and the "vents" are fake. Just like the "bricks' they are printed. Some sets us the faux bricks but printed wow. Typical for Sinclair.

WJBK 2 - Fox Detroit finally is getting a new set and they tore down their ugly FOX mandate set just recently. Curious to see what they will get. Of the top 3 markets, this leaves New York and Chicago still on the ugly old mandated sets.

WTWO - Terre Haute Indiana. Joining WKRC in the ugly column is this disaster of a set. Everything about this set it gross and disgusting. materials, design and lighting. Complete waste of money. YUCK! #fail
Nexstar...the station owners are notorious for these hideous set failures. Especially in these tiny markets.
