Now a days it seems that the government propose such a varied mixture of honours and sometimes to people who are totally unsuitable.
Pop idols who have had previous convictions of drugs , sex abusers of children ,government minister's that disgraced themselves.
Now with Cameron quitting, l would be very surprised if he gets out without a least a lordship.
For those of you who remember, Sir Winston Churchill did not receive his knighthood until much later in life, and in my opinion, should have been made lord
Churchill, but in them days a honour really meant a honour and was not handed out like sweets
