A Calendar Question: Probably been done before

As we all know Calendar has two versions for the 6 o'clock bulletin. Which is live and which is recorded?

Depends on the stories of the day I believe...whichever version has the story deemed most important is normally live. I get the feeling though that much of both programmes are recorded these days...
