Trivial point perhaps, but I'm assuming with Annita appearing on World, Joanna was scheduled to present VD today? If it had been Victoria herself, I wonder if she would have been handling the breaking news herself (as a breaking news special), or if they would have gone with the more seasoned (at covering breaking news) Joanna/Annita?

I personally don't like the way Good morning britain are covering the story, very early on speculation was rife with piers. Breakfast treating the breaking news with caution and respect.

GMB just acted really surprised and shocked as the camera suddenly jolted and one policeman was running. Think it was just someone bumping into the camera. Now speculating that another incident has happened after that.

I think ITV News really need to be handling this, GMB and the 'fluff' is trying to rear its ugly head.

I think GMB is doing a really good job, different from BBC which is as it should be, Piers approach is to talk it through rather than report it which is good, and he hasn't made any wild statements or gaffs so far.

I'm not sure why BBC don't move to the main studio, would make more sense.

Will the BBC News special simulcasting on BBC One go right through to 11am or revert to BBC Two / News Channel? It would make sense to keep it on One.

Good to see Frank Gardner appearing.

ITV warning that GMB may well replace This Morning and Loose Women.

BBC's live coverage page for some reason is showing a slide saying "This broadcast has now ended" while the programme continues with just audio.
