Because E is for Europe.
B is for Britain/Brexit.
So they’ve chosen Studio B over E tonight.
There’s no other explanation.
And just what is what is wrong with doing the extended Ten in E as normal exactly!

What is happening on BBC One within the next 15 minutes is not officially called BBC News at Ten tonight because it's an extended News Special on the UK leaving the EU presented by Huw Edwards. The designated time for it may come with some delays during the last few minutes of the programme because there may be some extra analysis provided from the BBC to cover all of the events that will become official after 11 o'clock tonight.
That could eat into the time of the regional news being aired & Graham Norton later on BBC One.
ITV News at the same time is not really calling it News at Ten either because that probably won't be using the NaT graphics at all. It's a news special as well. ITV News could use new graphics tonight as a way of telling people that the UK will be leaving the EU within the next 75 minutes.
Newsnight on BBC Two will probably be a OB tonight from London or some other part of the UK or it could be indoors within Studio A.
EDIT: Ryan Tubridy is wearing a green tie for The Late Late Show for his interview with Arlene Foster tonight.
