Shouldn't they be using their sister news channel Sky News, just to flex their newly-formed European muscle?
EDIT: By the way, Twitter seems to be going wild (or mild) with the BBC Parliament theme music, to the point that the commentators had to address the tweets on-air.
Jon Sopel is giving his perspective right now on MSNBC.

I haven’t really seen any Sky content on MSNBC there was a reporter whose package was cut for a brief clip into a Nightly News package. But MSNBC has frequently had BBC reporters on for a long time, most frequently Katy Kay. Often times international reporters it seems have more freedom to appear on different channels - because they’re not competing against them in the US market. I’ve seen BBC reporters on msnbc more than other channels.
But on the ground in College Green they have their own reporter Kelly Cobiella and their Iran correspondent Ali Arouzi covering the protests.
Edit: now Bill Neely is on the green with Sky News in a box on screen.

It's a shame those people going wild are only just being exposed BBC Parliament music now. Previous themes have been much better, IMO. I hate all the awful synth woodwind etc on this version.

I'm guessing it's only going to appear as a video on his website instead.

Shame. Though perhaps if there’s enough demand that may change. I’m sure many here will remember the BBC World CD that was released in 2001? I actually bought a copy one year for a friend who is far more into the BBC themes than I am...

Alot of chatter about a general election being called, though really don't see what that solves unless a long extension comes first. Wonder if Dimbleby would front this one (note he's hosting Have I Got News for You next week). Frankly after the last few months I doubt many political journalists have the appetite for an election, never mind the public.

Urr, so? Simon McCoy, Huw Edwards and Christian Fraser were on the other day?
Sophie Raworth, Philippa Thomas and Samantha Simmonds collectively holding the fort for BBC News and BBC World this afternoon.
