Do wonder if a channel has missed a niche in the market by offering a Brexit free bulletin.

This would be perfect for BBC3 - a replay of the 1, 6 and/or 10 with the Brexit portions skipped over (some sort of "The Chart Show" style fast-forwarding effect would be perfect).

I do struggle to wonder how 60 seconds would have covered it.

Rather like water’s hydraulic properties, news about Brexit is similarly non compressible

Carole Walker was speaking to David McCullough on RTÉ's Prime Time earlier tonight about what is happening with the Brexit vote in parliament tomorrow. She was on there as a political commentator. Other guests included in the programme were Ray Bassett & Lucinda Creighton. Carole Walker was on there today speaking from Westminster.

She spoke after Fran Mc Nulty did a report about the analysis from the ERSI that Ireland's economy will be badly affected by Brexit in a deal or no deal outcome. The Irish economy in a deal outcome would be estimated to lose €50 billion. If a No deal outcome happened with Brexit in reverse the loss of the Irish economy will be doubled to €100 billion. Those estimated losses by the ERSI are annual losses which makes it a significant loss on it's public finances. That analysis was the top story on all of the Irish media outlets today in the Republic of Ireland which includes all of the RTÉ News bulletins & news bulletins from VM News & Nuacht TG4.

I heard it as she will stand down when Brexit is delivered.

Not necessarily that winning her meaningful vote, will be the moment.

That's not how the BBC News alert that has come through quite put it.

“This has been a testing time for our country and our party," she said.

"We’re nearly there. We’re almost ready to start a new chapter and build that brighter future. "But before we can do that, we have to finish the job in hand.

“I have heard very clearly the mood of the parliamentary party. I know there is a desire for a new approach – and new leadership – in the second phase of the Brexit negotiations – and I won’t stand in the way of that."

“I know some people are worried that if you vote for the Withdrawal Agreement, I will take that as a mandate to rush on into phase two without the debate we need to have. I won’t – I hear what you are saying.

“But we need to get the deal through and deliver Brexit."

I get the feeling from that clip that Beth and Kay do not get on at all.
