PM to make another statement in an hour.
I wonder if the BBC News at Ten will take the statement live?

She’ll have to wait until significantly after ten or else the BBC News will still be in their headline sequence!
Robert Peston says it will start 22.03.
Southampton have took the lead now. For the BBC it's balancing what will get the least complaints- delaying the news or moving the football over too BBC Two.

Or they might decide to move the BBC News at Ten to BBC Two.
Alternatively, they might decide to delay the BBC News at Ten and keep it on BBC One, and just show the statement live on the News Channel.

I know some on here complain about Outside Source but tonight i've found Ros Atkins' breakdown of what's been happening with everything, linking in with what the BBC correspondents have been saying on Twitter and with Christian Fraser in Westminster really informative and watchable.
Outside source and the touch screen is excellent when there's major breaking stories but it isn't well able to cope with slower news days in the same way as a traditional bulletin.

I don't think they'd dare miss it on BBC1, if it was a major, historic announcement they'd never hear the end of it
Deja vu on this - the news will just be delayed as always, and may actually play to the advantage of the news channel who can take the statement first.
