I think it's fair to say we could have some serious disruption to Tuesday night's schedules.
If they pull the final part of Mrs Wilson, my mother will be asking for a full refund of her free TV licence
She can get a refund 20 times over, I'll pay it myself

The strong rumour now is the vote is going to be pulled after a cabinet conference call starting at 11.30 has been called. If that does get announced we might get newsflashes on BBC1 and ITV to announce it.
And then the possibility that the Commons might return on the 2nd January rather than the 7th.
I can't see a delayed parliamentary vote causing a BBC1 newsflash...
The Importance of this vote (and what even pulling it symbolizes and could lead to) might justify it- especially if confirmation doesn't happen to after the One O'clock news has finished.
I agree that such a decision is important to parliamentary process, but I still can't see it being important *enough* for a network news flash. Especially given that even if the vote is delayed, we won't actually know what that means, or its implications at the time of the announcement. So the only thing they will be able to flash is a point on parliamentary process, followed by a load of conjecture. In my opinion, that is an appropriate narrative for a rolling news channel and a mobile push notification, but not a network news flash.
The news flash comes when the myriad potential implications actually narrow down to something singularly significant.
But I guess we will know soon enough what the deal will be.
Official line at lobby that vote going ahead may well be rather quickly updated ... LOTS of conflicting signals at the moment but some smart money on vote being pulled
