Why not, The Day Today now looks very tame.......!

Tame? Given most of the visual gags they included back in 1994, have pretty much at some time turned up in slightly diluted form in real news channels/broadcasts, its now not so much a satire, more as a training ground for ideas from history!

Voting will begin at 7pm on the 11th - Likely to be amendments (up to 6 will be allowed) before the big vote - so the result could be in anytime from 7.15ish to 9 (a vote usually takes about 15-20 mins). Newsflash in between Holby and Mrs Wilson if not rolling coverage on BBC1.
Newsflash in the Add break on ITV?

If voting starts at on or around 7.15 - and it's going to be a pretty full chamber of MP's, it'll take around 15-30 minutes to count them through the division lobbies (no 'x' on paper here),

Therefore, if the main channels want to broadcast the result live - I'd be looking to drop the 7.30 - 8.00pm programmes as you'd then be right in the window for 'ayes to the left, noes to the right' result annoucement.

Why? Dimbleby has a contract up to 2019, Edwards has a contract from 2020. It's simple.

'ayes to the left , noes to the right '

I know this is going off topic, and I'm sorry for that, but the 'Ayes' are to the right, not the left.

Anyway, back to the Dramarama.
