Brussels says “yes” to an extension until next year (31st January 2020).

An extension as opposed to a flextension, I believe.

So.......here we go again!

Nope, it's the other way round.

I wonder why BBC rejected my application for the politics unit, Bilky?

There's a new incentive now to end this asap before 'Little Brexit' gets to BBC One.

Why is the 12th completely out of the question, but the 9th is perfectly fine? I assume they are all just playing silly buggers.

A couple of reasons I believe. They include the following - but others also probably also apply.

A later date could still allow for passage of the Brexit bill potentially I believe, plus the later in December the election is held, the fewer students will still be in their university towns, which benefits Labour and Lib Dem candidates more than Tory.

Although that in itself was more a satire of Daily Mail reading ‘Little Englanders’ if you excuse the expression.

Indeed I can very much imagine Peter and Judith Surname being regular contributors to Newswatch.

Surprised (and sort of disappointed in you lot) that there's been no post wondering if there'll be a newsflash/news special on BBC One or BBC Two tonight.
