Rumour yesterday was that a large amount of Labour won't vote for it even if Corbyn whips them to, because they want him gone for the next election (and a antisemitism report is due in Jan which they feel will allow them to do so)

That coupled with an easy attack lines "Johnson wants to make your Christmas about politics" or "The Tories want your parents to go out into the snow and ice to vote"

Based on how votes usually go, I’m assuming the opposition will vote against that date.

As if December wasn't already stressful enough.
