Weird decision to leave the Darts on BBC 1 in the afternoon and move the actual Brexit vote to BBC 2. They should definitely have moved the Darts to BBC 2 and kept the news coverage going on BBC 1.

Weird decision to simulcast the news channel full stop for that period of time. A scheduled lunchtime bulletin would serve the network audience better with a simulcast in the afternoon for the vote .

Also if BBC1 is screening the Six tomorrow weird decision to have Newsnight at 5.50.

I'm guessing that's exactly what's happening (combined with my previous post on the previous page.)

On the digiguide listings for BBC1 for tomorrow i've got it's

13:00-Lunchtime News
13:15-News Special with Christian Fraser
16:30-Final Score
17:15:An extended Early Evening News

Then the rest of the day as scheduled

I think I'd put my trust in the BBC News PR team than digiguide. Digiguide is clearly wrong if you read the above tweet.

Neither the Freesat or Virgin Media EPGs have been updated. They are still showing the original schedule for both BBC1 & BBC2.

Iโ€™m surprised Breakfast is finishing at 9am, as that 10am Saturday only finish always seems set in stone (in as much as it appears every Saturday, and never appears on a Sunday)

It makes sense for the anchor of that first session take over at the 9am junction and carry it through until possibly the switch to BBC2.

The vote seems to be a foregone conclusion though?

And they're doing it under the auspices of Newsnight so BBC Two seems the more appropriate home for it.

I would say it's far from a "foregone conclusion", it'll be very close

On the basis that the PM hasn't got a majority and none of the opposition parties or even his supply and confidence partners the DUP have said they can accept the deal it would surely need a miracle for it to pass?

He only needs about 10 โ€˜rebelโ€™ opposition MPs to support it, which may come from Labour MPs who represent heavilly leave leaning constituencies of which there are many. So itโ€™s not a forgone conclusion.

That schedule would make a lot more sense!

The tweet is the wrong way round, it's on BBC2 in the morning and BBC1 in the afternoon. And when they say "the Six" they mean the teatime news that isn't at six.

How would they get it so wrong?

And presumably โ€˜the Tenโ€™ that isnโ€™t a Ten either.

Why they didnโ€™t just say extended news bulletins I donโ€™t know.

Well they have! And there's no way on god's earth the extended Six and Ten would have happened (even on a Saturday with a big news) since Strictly starts at 6:40 and Match of the Day has to start at 10:30.

Why canโ€™t the 6 start at 6 and end at 6.40? Same for Ten??

I may be totally wrong but youโ€™d expect correct info from the BBC PR team.

We shall see what indeed happens on โ€˜godโ€™s earthโ€™.
