Is it possible the police might have told the UK broadcasters not to say certain stuff at this moment of time?
I don't think they would. Regardless of what the Police say, people are going to go to social media. If the police don't say something, social media will, and news will start to flood in whether the police like it or not.
Sky News's breaking news ticker appears to have packed up and are using the normal one with other headlines.
Earlier on they were having problems with straps as well, details about the news were shown in breaking news colours but peoples names and eyewitness names reverted to standard red and white sets.
They have been having graphical issues for a week or two on and off but they've been much less apparent last few days.
BBC Radio 5 Live reporting it is a possible terror incident and that the number of fatalities are likely in double figures. They are currently taking to a woman who is clearly shaken. I'm not looking forward to clearer figures coming out.
Because the BBC doesn't report things it can't confirm, and the police are not confirming anything.
There are a hell of a lot of families who may be concerned about people who were attending the gig, so you have to be quite sensitive in how you report the things.
