On 22 May 2017, there was a suicide bombing at Manchester Arena which killed 22 people (May 2017)

BBC World Wide is handling international distribution of the broadcast. Hopefully those involved will either donate services or offer them at cost (Such as distribution). In the US the concert will air live on Freeform (formerly Disney Family but still youth / tween oriented) followed by a one hour best of on the ABC Network after the NBA game.

I presume the 1930 apparent hiatus, was a pre planned break, continuity has been impeccable otherwise. Has to be an enormous risk especially with the short time-frame.

Grief and the reponse in how that grief is expressed is a personal thing. How you react is no less valid than anybody else's response.

TMC are cutting back to the studio between performances while doing ad-hoc translation. They also have a lower third strap with tweets from viewers.
