ITV failed their viewers or viewer, plain and simple IMO. .

ITV should have done more that's clear, but they didn't, however please save us all from the diatribe on how our 'second' PSB should have conducted its affairs. US broadcasters fail every day to report highly significant and important world events, because their own agendas are so incredibly myopic. ITV's editorial agenda is up there
along side the Beeb's, and all the other European broadcasters.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that some of the commercial radio stations, stepped up to the mark overnight.

Radio reporting can be, and actually often is far more powerful than TV. TV is often 'lazy' relying too much on pictures, without any proper or considered analysis. TV offered no advantage over radio overnight Monday, you didn't need to see the mobile phone footage, to grasp the horror of what occurred.

Well I could also request that you save us from all your endless sanctimonious diatribes about US Broadcasters and what you feel are their failings and misgivings, because no US Broadcaster was even mentioned at all. You don't know where I'm from or where I've lived. But that wouldn't be fair.

I'm kindly asking you not to tell other posters they have no right to comment, criticize or critique. Because you dont like or agree with my opinion, thats fine, we can agree to disagree, but you certainly dont have the right tell any poster they cant or should not be making a statement or an opinion. You clearly have your views or opinions on other broadcasters and other countries, and so do I, as does everyone else. Thanks for your time.

Justin Bieber, Coldplay and Katy Perry are among the stars who will join Ariana Grande at a tribute concert following the Manchester attack.

The concert will be held less than two weeks after 22 people were killed by a suicide attack as people left Grande's show at Manchester Arena.

The 23-year-old US singer will perform at the Old Trafford cricket ground on Sunday.

The venue has a 50,000 capacity and the gig will be live on BBC TV and radio.

Presumably was in the works over the weekend, in time to divert the Radio One Big Weekend production crew across the Pennines to re-rig. Useful that there's a production team extant at hand to utilise without starting from scratch.

Appears News/Regions moved to 1650, Question Time to 1700 and One Love Manchester from 1800.

Don't know what they're thinking of broadcasting till 9pm when the concert doesn't actually finish till 10:15pm.

Or how they will fill the 75 minutes since it doesn't start till 7:15pm.

BGT will love that being scheduled against their final.

They should probably consider moving BGT to Monday. The ratings will be diabolical.

ITV are showing the Soap Awards LIVE on saturday for the first time, good decision, but not the same week BGT is on.
