Looks like the cameras on BBC News were trying to get into position for the normal Newsday setup just now.

Yes, you are right, Singapore completely dropped of course. The local times have gone as well.

The ten has been scheduled for a 10:35 finish some days this week since at least the weekend, so probably a mistake caused by either in scheduling or by the News team
NBC News Report it was a possible suicide bombing

err not quite.
NBC post speculation as a possibility which you then turned into a fact.
Edit: the word possible was not in the quoted post originally

Sorry just because its not reported by the BBC doenst make any other report from an American news organization speculation or inherently false. NBC News has been around since 1940. Fox news it is not.

Clickbait headline of the night so far...

What they actually mean it's that it has been confirmed that there are a number of fatalities, not the actual number.

That's exactly how I would read it and it's hard to know what they meant by it. It's unfair to say it's 'clickbait' because you can't be sure that was intended.

Fox News talking about a possible gunman at a hospital but to be fair they said it's very much social media speculation and rumour.

Im seeing 2 sources mention an incident occurring at Oldham hospital about a man with a gun. May be unrelated. Just keep an eye out for that. Might not be significant.

This came from a Facebook post from somebody inside the hospital saying they'd been locked inside with a man with a gun outside.

Fair chance the hospital is on a procedural lockdown and that the man outside is an armed police officer.

There's an awful lot of speculation out there tonight.

I'd echo the heads up for the 5 Live coverage tonight. Some really harrowing eyewitness accounts.

This is just awful. I hate the thoughts of this kind of thing becoming as regular an occurence as it is on mainland Europe. If, of course, it's confirmed as terrorism.

It's fair to report speculation being reported by news broadcasters, we're here to discuss how it's being reported not stone hard facts.

Sky have North of England correspondent Nick Martin at the scene. Appears to be a 4G connection.

BBC Radio Manchester seem to be staying on the air past 1am, when they should have joined 5 Live - their late programme is only shared with Radio Lancashire from the looks of it which made it easier to go very local very quickly. A good live video from Granada Reports on Facebook earlier, a shame that ITV haven't done much more than this.
