Source?

Same idiot - and yes, I am using that word - made a tasteless joke at Kay's expense during the Manchester situation. Excuses were made that it was trench humour designed to get us through.

To that person, I say this: You're almost certainly not in a newsroom right now, and we're still in the midst of an unfolding situation. Have the decency to keep quiet.

Oh, and your assertion was factually wrong.

Sky/Fox News running a clip of an eyewitness doing gunshot sound effects Rolling Eyes

Yes Sky keep replaying it too, I guess they need an eyewitness on but it's a bit much

I doubt ITV will start rolling news coverage. However, I guess they will keep somebody in the studio, as they've just done a bulletin?

This very much appears to be an ongoing, developing situation.

Your assertion's incorrect, it was me last time! Laughing

Are Sky even monitoring what they're showing? They're currently showing live footage of bodies on the ground!

BBC news have reporter live on the ground. Sky live also but no reporter yet. ITV are showing footie.

Pretty disgraceful on behalf of the BBC. CNN even have a reporter on scene from what I'm seeing.

You need to re-read what you're quoting!

How on earth can they show that, even at this time of night. It's horrifying.

The BBC ONE guide has been updated and shows that rolling news is going to be replacing the film:

Current show Clique is just ending now.

So this could be a test of breakfasts ability to get a experienced presenter in on Sundays at short notice (although I suppose Naga could be scheduled to present anyway).
