The Gunfire seems more likely to be from the Armed Police perhaps.

The Sky Camera probably has come from the News UK building.

That hadn't occurred to me (not that that term would be used on air)
I'm waiting for the first news organisation to use a photo of Tower Bridge....
Wonder if anyone at the BBC feared the worst when "London Bridge" was first mentioned, as we know that's the code word for the announcement of the death of the Queen.

"Pictures from Twitter" really winds me up. It's the equivalent of attributing a letter to Royal Mail or a phone call to British Telecom. They should really be crediting the photographer.

In a lot of ways I'd imagine that story would be easier to deal with than this sorts of event...
True. Death of a member of a Royal Family gets announced at 8am, too.

Not sure that's true. I think it can break at any point during the day (The Queen Mothers death was announced early evening), but if it occurs overnight it will be 8am.

Yes if Her Majesty died at 8.15 am it will be announced that day not at 8am the following morning. I suspect 10pm is the cut off time at night.
