Surely cabinet ministers will be cancelling their interviews, given that there is Cobra meeting later this morning?

Things are a bit different in this period in the run up to an election, after Parliament had been dissolved. Ministers are technically still in post but are only meant to keep things ticking over.
Therefore I wouldn't expect a full cabinet meeting, just those whose portfolio is directly relevant - Home Secretary, Defence Secretary, PM etc - to be involved in the COBRA meeting.
EDIT if we do see a further suspension of Election campaigning as a mark of respect to the victims that could complicate things for the broadcasters who are relying on interviews etc that they will show this week to ensure their coverage overall is balanced, although I guess they can treat it as an empty chair scenario if they have to.
