Very confused picture at the moment, obviously we shouldn't jump to conclusions.
Sky providing the best coverage so far.

BBC had Holly Jones (who seems to be a producer and behind the scenes journalist for East Midlands Today) at the scene when the attack happened.
Someone has just been arrested according to the BBC (reporter saw it herself)
ITV playing it down and not reading any more than the police statement on there being an incident and the station being closed while the BBC News channel (but not BBC1) and Sky News in rolling news mode. I can understand ITV wanting to get the Champions League highlights on so that's the right call but if this is what we think it is they need to at least update viewers after the highlights.

Reports of stabbings but none of the Journalists there can confirm that fact.

At least if there more details, ITV know and also has someone in the building so there could put out newsflash during the ad breaks of the highlights.
Wonder if anyone at the BBC feared the worst when "London Bridge" was first mentioned, as we know that's the code word for the announcement of the death of the Queen.

In a lot of ways I'd imagine that story would be easier to deal with than this sorts of event...
