BBC just played that bar clip uncensored too! Had to apologise for any offensive language afterwards and that they'll have to edit it if they show it again.
I know - I had missed the "offensive language" totally, probably as I wasn't concentrating on the television, until Martine Croxall mentioned it then I had to go back on the i-Player to hear what it was. Ridiculous, as well as an irrelevant distraction - I'd actually be more "offended" that they think I could be offended by something like this, understandably in the heat of the moment of a serious incident. I would love it if there were actually people who complain about that whilst not finding what seems to be this terrorist incident itself deeply offensive. Just a distraction to apologise for "offensive language" and then to censor us from what has happened next time. Sanitisation is a little more offensive, but the most offensive thing itself is the actual incident and the death of innocent people. Anyway, it was just a complete distraction away from the seriousness of the incident they are reporting, which I think I will now get back to watching.
Have to give a mention to my colleague and friend Nick Stylianou, who is not only relaying pix from the scene, but also conducting on-the-ground interviews with a calmness and articulacy that belies his lack of on-air experience.

I don't agree with the opinion of this tweet but she seems to work in the press
It's 15 past 12 and already some BBC woman is wittering about seeing the good side of human nature "on occasions like these" #LondonBridge
