BBC News Channel and Sky News now reporting. They are reporting a van has hit pedestrians on London Bridge in central London, with armed police understood to be at scene.

Coverage on BBC News and Sky News, not mentioned so far yet on the scheduled ITV News bulletin who are leading with the Tory tax story.

BBC sticking with one of mouseboy33's fabled tower cameras, successfully demonstrating that police vehicles have blue lights.

Obviously a terrible incident no matter what the motive, but from a pres point of view - what a contrast for ITV compared to a few weeks ago.

Happening literally as they go on air.

ITV making reference to the breaking news, before continuing onto the next story. Presumably they won't be staying on air.

ITV has mentioned it BUT told people took look on its website for more details.... AJ is also covering this.

Twitter was pretty quick as per usual. Sky was about to start the Press Preview, but has been in rolling news mode since 2234.

Al Jazeera English can literally look out their windows and see what's going on. They had their news editor down on the ground outside. News Corp's HQ is next door in the 'Mini Shard' too.

Both in prime position to report the story, assuming they can get out of the buildings. Though unfortunately also potentially involving their staff.

On twitter the police are going around building and keeping people in side but telling there are safe. Its still VERY UNCLEAR what is going on.

Sky now have a live camera on Borough High Street. Appears to be no journalist yet.
