Doesn't the autumn 'season' usually start at the beginning of September? After the kids go back to school and the summer holidays are over? I'd assume the 'new' News at Ten will begin then. It'll be interesting to see how distinctive they'll make it. The current NaT looks like any other bog standard ITV News bulletin. Presumably the Tom Bradby version will look quite a bit different from the other bulletins?

I'm not so sure. I think there is a strong possibility that News At Ten will relaunch a couple of weeks later for ITV's 60th Anniversary celebrations. As one of ITV's most famous programmes I believe that it seems the perfect time to relaunch.
Aww, I really hope they haven't. I wanted to record their final 'Ten' together. I'll miss their fantastic partnership!
Well there is a chance you'll see it again on the Evening News if Mary, Charlene and Ranvir are off. I'm not sure Julie was even mentioned as continuing to cover on that - it's an absolute joke they are sidelining their best asset for a newsreading novice.

Can we please stop assuming this is a sideline? There are other factors to consider such as whether Julie wanted to remain in that position, whether she wants to try other things etc.
